In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998, the text of which can be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, Peter Lã¶W Vermã¶Gen will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Peter Lã¶W Vermã¶Gen website or other online services (the "Service") that are reported to Peter Lã¶W Vermã¶Gen's Designated Copyright Agent, identified below.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Service by completing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to Peter Lã¶W Vermã¶Gen's Designated Copyright Agent.

Upon receipt of the Notice as described below, Peter Lã¶W Vermã¶Gen will take whatever action, in its sole discretion, it deems appropriate, including removal of the challenged content from the Service.

A DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement must contain the following:

  1. Identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or - if multiple copyrighted works are covered by this Notice - you may provide a representative list of the copyrighted works that you claim have been infringed.
  2. Identify the material or link you claim is infringing (or the subject of infringing activity) and to which access is to be disabled, including at a minimum, if applicable, the URL of the link shown on the Service where such material may be found.
  3. Provide your mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
  4. Include both of the following statements in the body of the Notice:
    • "I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use)."
    • "I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed."
  5. Provide your full legal name and your electronic or physical signature.

Deliver this Notice, with all items completed, to Peter Lã¶W Vermã¶Gen's Designated Copyright Agent at the contact details provided below.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that the material you posted on the Service was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a Counter-Notification with Peter Lã¶W Vermã¶Gen by submitting a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent.

Pursuant to the DMCA, the Counter-Notification must include substantially the following:

  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (e.g., URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • The subscriber's name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if the subscriber's address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Peter Lã¶W Vermã¶Gen may be found, and that the subscriber will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  • The subscriber's physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, Peter Lã¶W Vermã¶Gen will promptly forward a copy to the complaining party who submitted the original DMCA notice. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider within 10-14 business days of receiving the Counter-Notification, the removed material may be replaced or access to it restored.
